A 2.5 ring bit is a milder version of a 3 ring (Pessoa) bit. This bit allows leverage to be applied: the lower the reins are attached, the stronger the action becomes. It is an ideal bit for horses that tend to be strong in the course, take hold of the bit, or run through the rider’s hand. Compared to a 2.5 ring eggbutt snaffle, the loose rings of the snaffle allow more movement in the bit, resulting in a more indirect action of the rider’s aids.

Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made from elastic synthetic material and are highly flexible, making them particularly gentle on the horse’s mouth. Despite this flexibility, an Inno Sense Flexi Soft bit remains very solid thanks to a flexible stainless steel core.

Bits from the Inno Sense collection are suitable for all horses, but are especially recommended for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The synthetic material used is FDA approved, meaning it is non-toxic and free from plasticizers. Horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece easily follow the rider’s hand and accept the bit quickly. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft is less suitable for very strong horses.
