The B&K Precision DAS220-BAT is a portable 10-channel data recorder that measures and records parameters commonly found in process applications, including voltage, temperature, current, resistance, frequency, and pulse. It integrates 10 universal analog channels with convenient screw input terminals, and results are viewed graphically and numerically on a 10-inch color touchscreen and saved to internal memory or external USB memory. The instrument was developed by B&K Precision's French subsidiary Sefram, which specializes in the design and manufacture of data acquisition instruments and field strength meters.

The DAS220-BAT supports temperature logging with thermocouples and platinum resistance temperature sensors, voltage measurements down to the ±0.5 mV range, 4-20 mA current loop measurements, and frequency, pulse totalization, and pulse rotation measurements that can be expressed in RPM. A data recorder of this type captures measured values over time so an engineer can track how a process behaves and review the logged record afterward.

Important: 4 to 20 mA current loop measurements require the optional 4 to 20 mA / 50 Ω shunt (P/N 902406500), which is not included with the base unit; the 50 Ω shunt can be used on any channel to measure, display, and record the output from 4 to 20 mA current loop sensors.

Important: Resistance and current measurement (to ±100 V, resistance to 10 kΩ) is supported with the optional shunt input-terminal block.
