The TakLite Ranger is the most interesting and the most powerful full-sized flashlight we currently sell. It was specifically designed for use by civil workers and is the most premium product in our line-up. Special attention was paid to this flashlight during the manufacturing process to ensure an artisanal finish and premium feel.

The Ranger also comes with a belt-clippable holster made from CORDURA fabric.

True Utility

The Ranger is a dual-function flashlight. It can be used either as a conventional 1600 lumen tactical flashlight or can be rapidly converted into a marshaling wand.

It features three diodes: a Luminus SST40 white, a CREE XPE2 red, and a CREE XPE2 green.

In less than a second, the translucent cone can be attached and the flashlight can now be used to direct traffic, to marshal vehicles, or for non-verbal communication in loud environments.  

It should be noted that the TakLite Ranger, first and foremost, is an incredible conventional flashlight. It uses a traditional beam profile with an astonishingly bright 1600 lumen output. It comes with the standard suite of operating modes and a momentary-capable tactical tailswitch as well.

The Run Down

The Ranger is a very unique flashlight that makes for an amazing gift or present. The manufacturing process is slow, expensive, and it's unlikely we will be doing another production run. 

It uses an external USB Type C port with fast charging capabilities. The diode, driver, and battery are significantly more efficient than our previous flashlights.
