Advance your basic bench with a Smart Bench Essential (SBE) Plus instrument. The FG33531A function and arbitrary waveform generator features a single channel with frequencies up to 100 MHz, offering essential signals and capabilities such as modulation, sweep, and burst functions. Its intuitive front-panel interface ensures smooth navigation, allowing you to efficiently adjust and monitor settings. Trueform technology accurately replicates each waveform point, supporting up to 8 Mega Samples (MSa) memory and 320 MSa/s sampling rate. In addition, a higher memory upgrade option of 16 MSa is available. Simplify waveform creation and editing with Keysight BenchVue software and BenchLink Waveform Builder, designed to streamline even the most complex waveform designs.
Engineers with demanding specifications often face limitations with DDS technology or must invest significantly more in a high-end, point-per-clock waveform generator. Keysight’s Trueform technology provides a solution by combining the advantages of both DDS and point-per-clock architectures while eliminating their drawbacks. Utilizing an exclusive digital sampling method, Trueform technology delivers enhanced performance compared to competing DDS-based products.
The FG33531 offers a range of fundamental waveforms along with seventeen pre-installed arbitrary waveforms. These include sine, square, ramp, triangle, pulse, PRBS, DC, Gaussian noise, and more. Also supported are specialized waveforms such as cardiac, exponential rise and fall, Gaussian pulse, haversine, Lorentz, D-Lorentz, negative ramp, and sinc. In addition, the device features six built-in analog and digital modulation types, including Amplitude Modulation (AM), Frequency Modulation (FM), Phase Modulation (PM), Frequency-Shift Keying (FSK), Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK), and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM).
Keysight's BenchLink Waveform Builder Pro software enables the creation of custom waveform sequences, whether designing from the ground up or merging multiple common segments using its advanced editing tools. With this software, users can generate complex, extended waveforms to replicate various signals or scenarios. To maximize the capabilities of the FG33530 Series, the 33503B software can be purchased separately.
